This is somewhat related to the OP's topic. Regarding the H11b bulb on the Elantra and i30/Touring, is it true that an H11 bulb can be easily modified to fit the H11b harness as I have read in other forums? I am asking because, as the OP stated, the H11b bulb is hard to come by in anything but the normal halogen replacement from Sylvania. If anyone can shed some light on this topic, I would be very appreciative. Thanks!

HID bulb replacement for H11b
Hey, I've been looking for an HID replacement to improve my low beam visibility and it turns out the Kia Rondo has the same bulb type as the ET. A little more research turned up what I think we are all looking for. HIDGUY.net is where it's at.
Check it out. Also the K rating I suggest is 5000, it is their lowest and closest to white light.
