Default Giving up on seat comfort...

I'm not a big guy, just 6' 200lbs... yet I can't seem to get comfortable in this seat anymore. I've got a fully adjustable seat in a GLS A/T with 30k miles. As the central padding settled, my hips rub into the side support structure of the seat underneath the pad.

The dealer got some padding added, but it does little good.

Does anyone have any suggestions... I'm at my wits end. Even when the seats were comfortable I either ran into an issue of my right knee hitting plastic of the console, or having to stretch to reach the radio and AC controls. Also the brake is freaking to far from the gas and is slowly getting spongy as hell.

How are you supposed to sit in the ET? What am I missing?

UPDATE: Hyundai is ordering a new seat cushion. This is great, I hope it doesn't wear out as quick as the last one. I notice that my passenger seat sits much much better. I could see a passenger seat sitting noticeably better at say 150k miles, but not at 30k. It's also a family car, and the passenger seat is well used too.

Default 2011 Elantra Touring Driver Seat

I have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. This is my 4th Hyundai! I have had good experiences with all my other Hyundai's, However, the drivers seat in the Touring leaves much to be desired. When driving more than two hours, my buttocks are so sore from the stiff seat with little or no padding. The shocks & tires may contribute to part of the hard ride. After a long drive I have to sit on a cushion on chairs in my home, for a couple of weeks, until the discomfort dissapears. I have discussed it with Hyundai Customer Service and they say there is nothing they can do as the seat is not defective. I am at a point where I will have to sell this car or trade-in at a great loss. Any suggestions?
