I noticed that on my 2011 Touring SE, the front license plate mount is rather flimsy. That is, the entire plate assembly seems to just mount onto the body of the soft plastic grill. Thus, the entire grillwork seems rather weak. It feels like one good swift kick and the entire piece may shatter. I had purchased some of those anti-theft screws hoping to decrease the chance of having my plates snatched, but with the front grill in such a sorry state, I'm wondering how that would even be possible.

Would it be advisable to change the thing to something metal; does Hyundai or an after market source even make something in metal? Also, how troublesome would it be to change a grill?
