Touring floormats
For those who are in search of good quality floormats, I called Weathertech today to see if their "digital fit floorliners" are available for the Elantra Touring. Not yet. But, they do have a "Product Request" form on their website(www.weathertech.com). It takes only seconds to fill out and the operator said that if enough people show interest in a certain product they sometimes take the hint. In reading through the i30 forum, we certainly have quite the membership and we just might have a shot at getting this excellent product. So if you're interested, take a minute or so to contact them. Request that they produce the "digital fit floorliners" for Elantra Touring. We might just luck out. Those who have had these floorliners in the past know what a great and functional accessory they are. Well worth the time and effort!

Speaking of floor mats for the ET or i30; what about the floor mats for the regular Elantra Sedan; will they fit into the ET or i30 also? I noticed that one of the Hyundai Accessory site, while saving a picture of the floor mats for the ET, the name of the JPG is actually 2007_Hyundai_Elantra_Rubber_Floor_Mats. This lead me to suspect that the floor mats for the regular Elantra should be exactly the same specs as the one for the ET right? So, if I see other floor mats (like the all weather rubberized ones) that are fitted for the regular Elantra 2007 model year, then they should fit the 2010-2011 ET model year too, right?

I think the photo on the accessory store is for illustration purposes only and does not reflect the actual product for the ET. The ET has two snap buttons on the floor that hold the mat in place where the regular Elantra has just one button snap. Unless they changes the floor of the Elantra to having 2 snaps, then I don't think they are the same. The rear mats are the same part number for both sedan and touring. I had the all weather rear mats and they fit well in the rear seat floor, but they weren't exactly the same shape as the stock carpet mats.
Also, after reading Jake's suggestion, I had left a note at WeatherTech, and got this response from them on 10/19/10:
Hello Ralph.
Thank you for your interest in the Weathertech products.
The All Weather Floor Mats for the 2011 Touring Elantra are not in development yet, but the Floorliners Digital fit are. We should have the liners available in a month or two. If you would like to be notified when they are ready, please fill out the “product request” form in the customer service section of our website.
Please also feel free to contact me directly for updates,

After calling Weathertech a half dozen times and getting conflicting info as to their "possibly" producing the Digital Floorliner for the Touring, I decided to take a chance and order the ones they make for the Elantra Sedan('07 and up). Arrived today. They fit! Not perfect, but pretty darn close. Say, 90%-95%. WAY better than anything else out there and UNLIKE anything else out there. I'm glad I "bit the bullet". Here's what you can expect if you get them: There's only one accomodation for the stay snap on the driver's side (where there should be two), and there's about a 1/2" gap where that left footrest thing rises. Passenger side isn't exact either, but works well enough for this Tourer. They are awesome and I'm quite satisfied. The stay snap issue is no big deal since they're molded so close to spec that they're not going anywhere. Leaving the floormat in bridges the gap(a handtowel would, too). Oh yeah, one more thing. . . expect to pay up! Pricey, but well worth it. Didn't want to have to wait any longer and am still not sure what the company has planned for the TOURING. CSR's couldn't reach a consensus
