Funny. My son at one point thought, well, let's put a voltmeter on the battery. It showed it was OK (though didn't check the cranking ampage). But the mere act of touching and holding the prongs of the voltmeter on the battery terminals would spark an audible click and then the electronics inside the car would come on. Most of the time... Before the junction box was replaced, sometimes banging on the fuse box area would cause it to start, but generally it was the voltmeter trick. So we carried it for months.

Picked it up yesterday after dealer kept it 3 days to keep analyzing. It did a day of Xmas shopping with my wife yesterday, lots of stopping/going. Seems fine. We'll see...she's driving it to Oregon this weekend, about 500 miles roundtrip. Thanks again for the replies.

It can be your solonoid switch. The starter switch. Buy it of Lucas brand. they are expensive but worth its price.
