hyundai brake line?
Hi all,
I have been waiting 8 weeks for a set of brake lines for my hyundai matrix which is covered under warranty. Is this normal for parts to take so long.
With hyundai warranty being extended more than any other vehicle, is this extented time to allow for the delivery delays.

RE: hyundai brake line?
I am surprised you have been waiting two months to have replacment brake linings!
If this had happend to me, I would have checked with other supplyers as to availability and cost of the brakes, then put that in writing and placed it on their service desk.
They could be putting you and others lives at risk of injury or worse.

RE: hyundai brake line?
kept calling dealership to ask when parts would arrive"NO SUCCESS THERE"
Finallly called hyundai customer care, and was informed,"their are no parts available in the country. Was informed, the parts are on back order.
If the car was not under warranty, I could have taken the car to any garage and put copper brake pipes on in an hour.
8 weeks without a car, is not much fun.
