Hi all

first time here I have a 2003 Santa fe when I fuel up then try to start the car it seems vapor locked have crank it and pump the gas a few times then it starts but is rough for about 2 minutes or so then smoothes out
I tried fueling with the motor running and it stills has a problem it doesn't die but I have to feather the gas for a little bit until it smoothes out.
today I got home and shut it off and took the gas cap off left it off while I took my bags into the house and then put the gas cap back on and started the car it started perfectly .

What in the act of fueling the car could be the problem? there is no pressure when I remove the gas cap I fill up at a quarter tank no lower
I stop when the pump stops
