Default 04 Santa Fe 4 cyl. Spark plugs

Where are the spark plugs my repair manual only talks about the V6 model. I also bought the wire set and only two wires is that right? Is the fuel filter under the rear passenger seat (fuel tank)? I got the filter today.

Spark plugs are under the plastic engine cover on top of the motor.

There should be four wires, one for each spark plug.

HMA service shows your filter outside the tank, but HMA service has been wrong in the past on this issue. I'd look underneath first before I started removing the back seat. Does the filter look like it goes in a fuel tank, or does it look like the one in this diagram?

Thanks for the help. I got the filter from the dealership it goes in the tank so they said so. I noticed there are only two wire in my wore set. My repair book said that some of the plugs have coils on them.

You sound kinda dangerous to yourself, frankly. Are you sure you wanna change your plugs? How many plugs do you have.... four? How do you put two wires on four plugs? All wires hook up to a coil pack. There's two coil packs, two plug wires to a coil pack, four wires going to four plugs. Find someone who knows a little about what you're doing to help you.

I got them changed it was easy. I am used to changing them in my trucks. Once you said they were under that cover a light turned on. The two wires are attached to the 2 coils that is all I had to change, The car is running better, now the fuel filter is next. I found the access panel under the rear passenger seat. I have the diagram from the dealership that shows it lies on the passenger side.
