Default 2007 Santa Fe Rattling noise

Great car, but I am having noise coming from the back (door) when I drive and go over slight bumps. It's a rattle, maybe in the door cavity or? Not a metallic sound, morelike hard plastic rattling and rubbing. Anybody have any ideas or experience with this?. It's hard to bring it to the dealer whenI can't pinpoint the source.
We tightened up the license plate so it's not that.
Thanks

If you find out, please let me know. I just bought a Tucson (previous Santa Fe owner) and now have this same problem on the driver's side after only having the car 5 mos. Also, I had a noise coming from the right rear area like a plastic squeek - drove me crazy trying to find what it was - never did. Tucson didn't start that way and now that noise is coming around.

I havea similarproblem with the 2008 Santa Fe. I narrowed it down to the front plastic panel of the passenger seat. If you start tapping on it at the left hand corner, it makes this rattling or vibrating metallic noise. I unscrewedone of the screws that is holding it and moved theend of the panel behind the metal frame thatit was held against and screwed it back. That fixed the problem.

I have only had a rattle on one trip on an exceptionally bad road. It took jolts at highway speed to get the rattle. I haven't heard it since, and have not been on the road since, but I know its still there.

About the rattle being in the back, do you have the 3rd row seats? If not there are compartments under the floor/deck in the rear. Maybe something is bouncing around in there, or a latch isn't tight. Just a thought.

...also might want to check to see if the spare and tire tools are tight.

I have a rattle/vibrating noise that comes from the rear of the car when I first start up and drive it. The noise usually happens when the engine is about to shift. If I was to guess, I would think it was a heat shield vibrating against the body or exhaust system. It goes away about 5 minutes into driving the vehicle, but is very annoying and loud on the outside.
