Default 2016 SE engine grinding

Howdy all...Recently purchased a new 2016 SE. This is my third Santa Fe. I previously owned a 2008 and a 2011. I really like this vehicle but am having a cold weather (engine?) issue, which the dealer is having a hard time duplicating. Upon initial morning startup with outside temps below freezing and I put the shifter into the Drive position and start moving forward I notice a metal on metal grinding noise coming from the engine compartment area which increases in intensity with speed but only lasts for maybe 3 - 5 seconds and the vehicle seems a little sluggish. Vehicle does not grind in reverse and is defiantly not brake related. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions as to what it might be? Metal on metal grinding cannot be a good thing!! Thanks in advance for any & all replies and suggestions.

Thanks...If I let vehicle warm up for 5 minutes, or so, the grinding noise is not there.
But, as we all know, idling for 5+ minutes is not a good thing either. Particularly when the engine has just over 200 miles on it. Will be taking vehicle back to dealer next week for an unrelated issue. I will leave it overnight in hopes the grinding noise will be noticed upon initial morning start up. Needs to be below freezing, however.

Still open to any suggestions.
