automatic trans filter

I went to change the automatic trans fluid and filter. I found that they only recommended the special fluid available from hyundai. Is this necessary?

I also found that I could not locate a trans fluid filter. Does one exist?

Ummmm --> YES... how long you want to have trans function ?

Buy it at local Hyundai or KIA store,, same part number.

Yes, but you have to remove the transmission, and the split the cases.. we not allow to do that at dealer level, only TRANSLEAD does that

The filter is a permanent filter, the fluid is required to meet Hyundai operating requirments
