blower motor not working
Drove over 1000 miles the other weekend all was working great in my 2006 santa fa front wheel, auto trans, 2.7 engine.
Started the car the next day and the blower motor was not working. No air movement but there was a clicking under the glove box. Have never had a problem with it prior.
Drove home in the rain and snow with use of a/c and heat just no blowing of air.
Took apart the side dash to replace the cabin air filter (just in case) and left it all open in the warm air. Later that afternoon the blower fan started working.
I put it all back together again. Everything worked.
Next morning, again warm after noon, the blower fan will not work. Again, clicking but there is no air movement. A/C heater and defrost all work.
Also...
I am having intermittent light issues on the center console to illumate the position the transmission is in. Took the console apart and cleaned it.
On both issues I have checked the hod fuse box and the one under the drivers side dash. I have checked the connections on everything that I have found and all seem to be good...
Any ideas?
