Default Chrome Mesh grille

Just bought my new 2009 Santa Fe and decided to make her look special. I purchased a SES mesh chrome grille especially for the 2009. This grille bolts over the exsisting grille. The problem, I can't get my hand behind the exsisting grille so I can bolt the new grille to it.

Before I try something stupid, has anyone done this to their Santa Fe and what is the easiest way to get behind the grille. This also comes with a mesh bottom grille that goes just above the license plate. I need to figure out how to get to that area also.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Wink

It looks even better than the picture. I figured out that there are a number of screws and bolts to take out. You can follow the grille line to see which nuts and screws have to come out. Some are even under the wheel well. Once you do that, gently pull the grille and the entire front, including the painted front panels comes down - not all the way off, just enough for you can get your hands in there to bolt the new grille over the exsisting grille.

I bought it here http://www.carid.com/product.php?pro...at=8939&page=1

I am sure there are other places you can buy them. They also gave me the number of a guy that knows exactly how to install them - he give great advice over the phone.
