heavy tapping from 2.0l diesel

i am getting a heavy tapping from my 02 2.0l diesel santa fe checked tappets -cam - changed big end shells -injectors - fuel rail no change it sounds top end but cant tell for sure any help from anyone

Did you change your fuel source? Diesels will change sound according to the quality of the fuel. Anyway, it's a diesel, it's supposed to be noisy.
