Default LOOSING OIL

i have santa fe 2003 2.0 crdi. DIESEL i am the firs't owner.i raplace engine with a new one because the old one burns the oil 3L/5000km.with the new engine i almost gat 80000km and same thing start to happen.
anny suggestion or help.

I'd get a compression test done to make sure that you're not burning the oil. Most manufacturers state different tolerable levels for engine oil consumption. A lot of them believe 1L/1000miles, or 3L/3000 miles (one oil change), is within specifications and does not warrant any investigation. I'd check around more and see if you can find any info pertaining to your 2.0 CRDi. We don't get the diesel engine in Canada

Hi
In Sweden some of this cars have that problem and some cars is was the turbo, look in to the intercooler and se if is oil
