Default No juice to seat heater

Anybody had a seat heater quit working? How did you fix it?

Have you checked fuse #6 in the passenger compartment fuse box? That is the fuse exclusively serving the seat heaters. If blown, I'm not sure I'd replace it until you solve the water leak situation since I think the two problems are possably related.

Good point. The 2 may be connected. If water is getting to the wiring for the seat heaters it will short out and blow the fuse. Replacing the fuse will make the heater work again but probably only until the next time it rains.

The fuse would control BOTH seats right? The pass side works great. Only the drivers is dead. If I could figure out how to get the switch out of the console I could check that. My test light does not find any current in the wiring under the seat (not positive its the heater wires though)
