Noise in Hyundai Santa Fe @ 4500 rpm - in Parking Gear
I am about to buy a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe V 6 (90K miles) from a Hyundai Dealer. When I did the test drive it drives smoothly. But when I am in parking, and accelerating upto 4500 rpm, the whole car starts vibrating. And by accelerating more, i noticed that the rpm is not increasing but it just locks down. Releasing the acceleration back to 4000 rpm stops the vibration immediately.
When I talk to the dealer about this, he mentioned it is a feature in Hyundai SUVs and it is called as ruffling (rthyms like this). He mentioned that most of the SUV have this feature. Is it true?
Should I buy this car?
Price/carfax/owner/highways drive/street drive is really good.

More in detail:
When the gear is in Parking,
- 0 - 4490 rpm -- Linear Increase in Acceleration -- Proportional Noise and Little Vibration
- at 4500 rpm -- Sudden increase in Vibration
(as if I am driving over the rocky mountain @ 50mph -- Noise is proportional little high) - tried increase the rpm more by accelerating -- Little Increase in Vibration - Same Noise - RPM not increased but was shivering between 4400 rpm and 4600 rpm
- Released the gas -- 4500 rpm to 4000 rpm -- Vibration stopped and noise is acceptable
- 4000 - 1000 rpm -- Linear decrease in Acceleration -- Proportional decrease is Noise and Vibration.
