Power Steering noise after Timing Belt change

Let me toss in another tid-bit to inspect, as this got me already..

Look at the sttel tube that come off pressure side of pump and wrap around timing cover... verify the steel portion is not touching the frame rail right there... if it does, the pump sounds will be amplified greatly vis the vibes in the line from the pump, and the frame acts like a guitar box and makes for a nice loud whine inside the cabin when driving..

Default PS vibration @ left turn only after timing belt replacement

I had a similar experience after timing belt replacement on 2003 Sante Fe 3,5L When I took it back the tech said during belt replacement he had to flex the PS hose metal end slightly out of the way to accommodate replacement. On left turn as engine would move on mounts it would interface with hose and cause vibration! He took a long screw driver and flexed metal hose end back and that was the end of vibration, never returned. Belt was replaced in 2007/08. Hope this helps?
