Default Stalling issue at startup

Hi. I just ran into an issue with my 2003 Santa Fe (4 Cylinder model) ~ 53k miles.

I can start my car. However, it stalls out after ~ 3 seconds. Revving the engine doesn't help. The check engine light stays on, but I don't have a decoder. Fuel is at 3/4 of a tank, from the place I usually gas up the car.

Any ideas? It's kind of a moot point, since the car is at the dealer's, but I'm curious about potential causes of the issue. Thanks.

Just wondering if they figured out what the problem was?
My 2002 Santa Fe is doing the exact same thing. Starts up just fine, runs for exactly 3 seconds, then dies.
Its been to 2 different shops - they don't know what the problem is.

How should I check it?
If I unplug it car does not even try to start.
It has 3 wires: one of them is 12V, one of them is ground, and the other one has 5V.
