I was hoping for something which fits on the inside of the window. I managed to find some which look real good and are an exact fit on the inside of the windows. I'll report back with more details.

They cover the whole of the window and simply clip in place. From a distance they just look like tinted windows. (See attched photos). I have to say its not a total block (you have to see through them after all) but its enough to take the edge off on sunny days.
