Sounds simple but did you remove the half-shafts?

Default Tranny stuck

I don't have the answer yet. However I know that the throwout bearing snaps onto the pressure plate once reassembled and the clutch is depressed for the first time. I will update you as soon as I know. My tranny is hanging as well.

Ok, I have the answer to the problem. You have to remove the nut holding the clutch release lever on. This should allow the shaft to turn enough to release from the pressure plate. Also says that you will have to lower sub frame. I will try without doing this first. Good Luck hope this helps.

Yes, indeed. Had I seen this earlier, I would have told you that. You have to remove that clutch release arm, or it's almost impossible to separate. I've read stories about guys destroying the old clutch trying to pry it loose with crow bars.
