'12 Sonata - Radio/Stereo problem
Hey guys! New comer here (to Hyundai and to this forum)...
I recently bought a '12 Sonata (Very happy with my purchase!) But I got a problem with my stereo/radio system...
I have 3000km made on it (approx 1864 miles).. And since I got it, I lost control over my radio 4 times. Controls come back after a while (ranging from a couple of minutes to days)
Controls still working: (Shorter to say what's still working than what's not)
Change the radio mode (from am to fm to xm to cd to usb...)
Cruise Control
Directly from the Radio panel:
the two "mecanical" *****
the volume control
So, just to sum up:
once in a while, I loose control over almost every electronic controls on my steering wheel, including Voice commands button and cell buttons (except cruise control)
And I loose control over all buttons on the radio system panel (except for the mecanical ***** that grants me the "right" to change the volume.)
I can't change the radio station (am/fm/xm)..
As any of you guys(and gals) ever saw that problem ?
I already have an appointment with my garage this wednsday.. I was just curious to see if it was a known problem, or if I'm the only one stuck with this!
Thank you!

Conclusion
So.. They tried a reset of the stero, didn't worked..
So they opened up the dash, and while they were picking up part numbers (or something), the radio started to work properly again...
So, they noted the part numbers anyway, and if the problem comes up again, they'll replace the unit.
Took 2 hours..
