1998 Sonata Help - Taking it way back.
Hello,
I have a few problems with my car. I was wondering if any of you would know what to do.
1. My car will not shift into overdrive. (I have read else were people complaining "that year is a piece of crap and is not worth the work" Please only positive answers.)
2. How often should I replace my spark plugs?
I'm sure I will have other questions. But for now this is all I can think up.
Thanks in advance for all the help

Your car will need new spark plugs as you will find out when the not all the cylinder fire as they should. The symptoms are when the car will drop rpms at start and would be very week and the car would vibrate do to the fact that the rpms are lower than what it should. I change my every two years but like I said as need it.
If you car does not shift to ODD on or off. Check your transmission oil level first and make sure it is right. After you take your veicle to your job leave the car running in parking position of course and check that the oil level is as required by looking at the deep stick transmission oil fluid. Also, when driving on the highway press the botton (ODD button) located on the automatic transmission and see if your veicle changes in speeds. Do once and see if your rpms change in the car. Do not do it fast and check if the light goes on if the ODD goes on or off. I hope this helps.
