Hey guys I have never worked on these cars before and my sister in law destroyed her 2001 sonata's 2.4l 4cylinder by not changing the oil i believe, anyways the motor is all seizd up and she needs a new one. So other than getting a haynes/chiltons do you guys have any tips on where to get a good used engine and what/if there are any sticky spots removing and installing these motors that i should look out for, any and all help would be appreciated we are currently looking at car-parts.com for the engine but if anyone has another place to offer please we are located in the vancouver washington area and dont really have the $$$ to spend on a super low mileage engine so whatever works, works, thanks in advance for all your help guys.

 

I have seen 2000 Hyundai engines and trans for sale on eBay for the last few weeks, try a search for Hyundai.
