I have an 01 sonata with the 2.5 v6/automatic in it that I cannot figure out it's no start issue. most of the time when the key is turned it doesn't do anything, sometimes the starter will spin but the solenoid does not engage to crank the engine and then sometimes it starts right up. I replaced the neutral safety switch after reading online that that can cause irregular starting problems but still nothing. I am not getting power to the solenoid wire on the starter when the key is held so I believe the starter is fine since it does work sometimes. where else should I check? I'm out of ideas.
