2001 sonata vibration
Recently my 2001 6 cylinder 2.5 liter sonata developed a vibration when accelerating. There is no check engine light on. I have noticed the vibration getting worse every day. Vibration starts to occur when I have started to accelerate or even now when just cruising at most speeds as long as the gas pedal is pushed. It seems to be coming from the body and not the engine however it is hard to pinpoint. I just replaced the harmonic balancer thinking that may be the problem. When ideling in park and gas pedal being pushed even at 3000 rpm's there is no vibration or miss in the engine. its as smooth as silk. Only when the car is moving does the vibration become apparent. It almost feels like the car is falling apart. So very strange? I can be going 80 mph on a flat level smooth hwy, and it is vibrating like crazy but if I let of the gas it becomes smooth as silk.
