2011 SE Steering

2011 SE Steering
I purchased a 2011 Sonata about 2 months ago. I really love the car. The only complaint I have is the steering is very stiff. It is harder than normal to turn when driving around town and very stiff on the freeways. I was just wondering if others have had stiff steering issues and if they have had it corrected by the dealership. I know that the electronic steering may be the cause, but i hope that maybe it can be adjusted so that it is not so stiff. The reason I have not taken to the dealer yet is because of a past experience when I purchased a new car in 2001 and had a strut issue with it worked on, but the car was worse after the dealer worked on it. So I am a little hesitant to have it worked on. If anyone else had had a similar problem fixed could you please post a reply. Thanks in advance.

Oddly, my impression of the steering in my 2011 Sonata SE is that it is a little "loose" at highway speed, kind of like my old Mustang. The suspension and ride are "stiff" and unforgiving and make me think that I probably should have spent the extra money for the Limited, even though I don't need or want all the extra features it comes with. Oh, well, I have a three-year lease and won't exercise the purchase option if I can't get used to it.
