Default 2011 Sonata and Sirius

You would think that since Sirius and XM are now the same company that I would be able to get sirius through my radio. The merger happened about a year ago. I hate XM and want my Sirius. Supposedly they are going to be able to pick up Sirius satellite sometime next year. Anyone else run into this issue??? Any solutions??? Can they change over a reciever or anything???
Happy 2011 owner

Sirius and XM did merge. The only difference the consumer sees is a change in channels between the two. Sirius 132 may be XM 161, and stuff like that. All the same programming is available on either.
