I have a 2006 Sonata GLS with 30000+ miles. Yesterday, the Air Bag light came on while driving and now it stays on all the time. Before taking it to the shop, I would like to know if this has happened to you and what could be the problem.

Thoughts?

 

I had the same problem at 23K. was a sensor in the pass seatbelt assy. Dealer replaced it under warranty. they had to order it and gave me a free loaner as well

 

My powerseat on driver's side of '06 Sonata GLS went out last month. Dealer replaced some sort of seat assembly. Since then, the airbag light has come on; seems to be staying on more than being off now.
