Buyers Beware
I purchsed a 2011 Sonata-i drove it for 6 days & 200 miles when the transmission went. When i took it back to the dealer they said they don't make the cars they just sell them. Most salespeople stand behinf the product they sell.Since the transmission was not in stock I wanted a replacement vehicle.I called Hyundai & after 3 days and being on hold for 30 minutes each time I called i got a call from a very rude person. he wanted to restore my confidence by offering $160.00.My car has been in the shop for 8 days with no communication.
They have totally taken the joy of buying a new car.
I have lost all confidence in the product.

I'm puzzled..
Certainly doesn't sound right to me and I wonder if we are getting the whole story here. Hard to make a determination when you get only one side of the story but I hope it all turns out well.
You don't have to sit idly by 'cause if you think you're being treated wrong get on the phone to the district office and immediately get a letter in the mail to Hyundai headquarters customer relations

Sounds like a specific dealership issue --- bad one at that. I too have a 2011 Sonata (SE) and have it in for service (steering); however, my dealership provided great communication and I was provided a Courtesy Vehicle. This dealership was on top all communication throughout my ordeal. The ordeal is a different conversation.
