Default Hyuandai Sonata Acceleration Problem

Ok well here's the deal Im new to this forum..Im a ITR owner..& i have a Hyuandai Sonata 2002 car..im having some issues..with it right now & since i knw nothing about these cars i figured i would ask. Well when i go to drive it the rpms stay at 2.5 like if it struggles to pick up. If i give it more gas then it goes but them keeps doing the samething ..like i have to floor it for it to go anywhere but then goes slow like if it laggs..i checked if it had A/T it was really low so i figured that might problem but wanna to make sure & ask. thanks !

On my 04 Sonata, I started experiencing acceleration problems over 2 years ago. It almost seems like the 0-60 would be over a minute. I know how you feel, it's frustrating. (Not sure if 02 and 04 are same body styles)
