I have a 2008 sonata, is it possible to get the original key copied anywhere like home depot, or do I need to go thru a dealership?

With our 2006 Sonata we had to go to the dealership but they only charged us $10 for the copy.

 

Any locksmith shop can do a key copy also, but if you like the nice factory look, go to the dealership.

 

Take it to a dealer and they'll cut it for you. I just did it myself today. But if you live around a big city like I do, call around several dealers. I had one dealer tell me its $25 to copy a freakin' key! and one quote me $13. If you don't care about having a nice key with a Hyundai logo, just take it to a locksmith.
