Just picked up a new limited yesterday, and so far I really love the car.

The only problem I have found is that the navigation isn't very accurate. It seems to find a points of interest with no error, but the residential info is off. It normally takes me to the correct neighborhood, but often not the right house.

Three times I went driving around and told the GPS to take me home, and it took me to three different houses in my neighborhood, none of which were ever mine. I thought maybe it was just an error with the area I lived, and tried a friends house on the other side of town. I had the same results.

So, my question is this. Is there already some sort of update available I can load via USB? Or is the GPS service worthless in this vehicle unless looking for points of interest? Will we have to pay for updates for the nav?

Sorry if some of these have already been answered. I dug around the forums and did some google searches, but I didn't get any of the info I was looking for.

I have a portable garmin and noticed the same thing (not unique to the sonata's gps anyway).

I put in my parents house and not only did it not go the best route but it was about 12 houses off. I've noticed half the points of interests I've tried weren't in the database so apparently my area wasn't very well mapped.

Navigation maps are apparently hit or miss.
