OEM 17" tire pressure?
Just put OEM 17" rims and tires on my previously 16" equiped 06 Sonata. My door tag only gives PSI for 16". Can someone please tell me what the 17" door tag pressure reads?
225/50/17
Thanks in advance for your reply..

The pressure on the sidewall is not what the tire pressure is supposed to be. Read the owners manual.

You read my post wrong. The max. pressure on the tire sidewall reads 50psi. There is 35psi in the tires now and the sidewall is just about on the ground, a hard corner and it's toast. I don't see how anyone is running 30psi and not encountering problems, or maybe there are. Under running the max pressure by 20psi (especially on a lo-pro) is a new one one me.
30 PSI is the correct amount for the 17" tires on the Sonata. Thousands of Sonata have been driving for hundreds of thousands of miles with no problem.
That is very foolish. Trust me, Hyundai knows more about it than you do.
