P0340 code.
2017 Sonata stalls duing idol in drive. Pulled code 0340 camhaft position malfunction bank 1 replaced the sensor and car runs and does not stall anymore. But now its idling at 1250 runs and still pulling the 0340 code. Checked the voltages going to both camshaft position sensors and only getting 4.8 volts on both outer pins. I'm under the impression there is supposed to be a 12 volt feed to thease sensors. Am I wrong? Any suggestions?

Most vehicles today use a 5 volt reference voltage supplied by the vehicle computer for sensors.
With some of the newer vehicles you cannot erase a code with a code reader etc. The vehicle has to go through one monitor cycle where there is no longer a problem and the computer now erases the code.
If everything you tried does not get rid of the code , clear it , then unplug the alternator and take it for a short ride. If the code does not come back , you will need to replace the alternator.
If this takes care of it , why, the alternator is sending out bad signals that the cam sensor is picking up. Common problem.
