I'm thinking of ordering a rear spoiler for my Sonata, but the company wants the paint code. Trouble is, I can't find the sticker that contains that info? Anyone have any ideas on where that would be? TIA

That VIN as of a few minutes ago still has an open campaign (VO2) for oxygen heater logic program update....

 

So, I double checked again. There is definitely nothing on the inside of my driver door, and I don't see any rivet holes (which yours appears to be riveted). I'll have to call the dealer I guess.

Nevermind. Here are the 2009 Sonata paint codes:

EB = Ebony Black
N2 = Pure Pearl white
S7 = Sleek Silver
B7 = Grace Beige
D2 = Deep Pearl Blue
D3 = Aurora Blue
G6 = Charming Gray

 

I just looked at an '08 and '11 we have here in the shop... open the driver door, look down at the base of the "B" pillar for the black sticker similar to the old aluminum plate seen in the pic above... It should be there, unless the vehicle been wrecked there and "B" pillar replaced and nobody got new sticker issued from Hyundai...

Often an aftermarket vendor will only offer a limited number of stock colors. This TSB is handy to have if you need to get a spoiler custom painted by a local shop.
