Hi I'm driving 7hr tomorrow to pick up a 2000 Sanoto. I’m looking for advice what to look for.
It has 100,000mi (60,000Km) on 2.5 (v6). It has been certified and I was told ac,pw,pl and cruise control all works. Any input would be welcome thanks.

 

Find out if the timing belt was changed. It should be changed every 60,000 miles.

 

Have the vehicle inspected by YOUR OWN INDEPENDENT TECH before even thinking about dropping the cash... Used car inspect by your own tech may save you some serious grief next week or farther into the future..

Got VIN... Frame recall may be open on that chassis depending on registered location of vehicle.

Have YOUR TECH pay particular attention to the frame rail just forward of the 2 bolt mounting at right hand side.. look fo rrusty line or carck there, see if you cah poke a wide screwdriver blade through side rail there.. look at rear corners of frame where it angles up there on the flat for cracking or thin material..

 

Yes it has a frame recall that has not been done yet.
