I've been noticing the front of the car rattles when I go over bumps, and upon inspecting the hood, noticed that there is some play. I can move it up and down when latched. Is there an adjustment I can make?

 

if i remember corectly the adjustment if in the latching mechanism it self. there is three or four bolts, that you need to losen, and that should allow the whole mechanism to move up and down. if you slide it down it will tighten you hood.

 

There are rubber posts in the frame around the latch that I was able to adjust to make it more secure.
