Removing Half-Shaft Assembly???
#11
Great thread! This seems much easier than on many other vehicles. I'm going to try and tackle mine (03 Sonata) soon as i discovered a rip starting in the drivers side boot while doing other maintenance.
Also, as i have been reading/searching i have seen people mention some sort of online maintence site that details the procedures. Does someone have a link handy?
Thanks again!

If you have OE axle, buy a inner and outer boot kit from Hyundai and re-boot the axle.
Pull axle out of car, reove the inner joint, and boot the axle from that end.. wash it all up, pack full of new lube, and assemble the new boots to the axle.
I like to use MOBIL-1 synthetic grease in the joints (337,400 on my personal car with OE joints and bearings)
