Can I get a different (completely different seat, as in from a different car make and model) drivers seat for my Sonata Limited? Are there other drivers seats from other cars that would be interchangeable? I love the car, but the drivers seat is ok/fair in terms of comfort (my '96 626 bucket seat was so comfortable).

 

Quick answer, NO..

Seat track bolt positions to match current fixed bolt locations on floor, there is a SRS side air bag inside the seat back on the Sonata seat (see that little "SRS" or SIDE AIR BAG" tag on the seat ?),, module will know within a few seconds that the squib is missing, anlong with buckle tensioner circuit..

Overcome the obstacles, I guess you could pull it off..
