Default SensorsCODES

Hello everyone,

I took my car(SONATA 2000 V6 2.5L) to a Hyundai dealer because of a “Check Engine” light on, and the following codes came back

Engine Control Module (ECM)

P0154 o2 sensor no activity (b2/s1)
P0134 o2 sensor no activity (b1/s1)
P0335 crank sensor

Ok so my questions are
1- Canany mechanicschange these sensors or does it have to be the dealer?
2- Is there a procedure booklet that tells you how to change them?

I am asking these questions, because the price the dealer gave me is like $700 to change them and honestly I think it is too much….

Thanks in advance

Default RE: SensorsCODES

Yes, your mechanic can fix these. Basically the O2 sensor is easy, but the crankshaft sensor requires removing the crankshaft pulley. I think the O2 sensor is the one before the catalytic converter, which is good because it's cheap..$35 at Autozone. The crankshaft sensor is $62 at Autozone.
