factory made tail lights are exact same size, im just not too sure about aftermarker ones on ebay

You don't understand what he is asking. He needs to know if 2009 Sonata tail lights interchange with 2006-2008 Sonatas.

Hyundai changed the Sonatas tail lights for 2009. They are different from 2006-2008 Sonatas.

They "appear" similar in shape but I do not know if they interchange.Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to that question because I've never tries to swap them. My guess is they will fit but I do not know that for sure.

No 08 tails do not fit 09

Yes,ladies and gentlemen.Just came back from Hyundai dealer and 08 taillights can be swaped with 09 taillights and vice versa.So these are going in http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07...1%7C240%3A1318
