I have a 2010 Sonata Limited with 57000 miles.

Have been hearing lots of clunks when driving on uneven pavement and took it to the dealership to check it out. They suggested replacing the upper control arms. So I made an appointment and they ordered the parts. They also found some worn link assy and replaced it.

Took delivery today and while driving to dinner noticed the same noises. I plan on returning Monday morning to take one of the techs on a test drive.

I am trying to figure out what else could be wrong? My dealership has always been up front and fair in previous repairs, so I am not concerned about being treated unfairly.

Any ideas?

Sway bar end links and bushings could be worn.

 

Sway bar and links are not connected with what was repaired?

I have a morning test drive with one of the techs tomorrow. I will suggest this.

I don't know what they replaced.

As far as I know, the Sonata doesn't have upper control arms. They have struts. I don't know how they could replace parts that don't exist. And I don't know what "worn link assy" refers to.
