time for a new one, however...dealerships
As my beloved 2007 Sonata approaches 230,000 miles, and time between repairs grows shorter, it's time to start looking for a new car.
While I've loved the car, the dealers, including their service staff have been, frankly, horrible from the very moment I signed on purchase and slid the paper back across the desk.
Visiting a friend, I asked how it was going with his Tesla, and he tells me his car breaks, breaks, breaks, dealer blows him off and he has to argue, and he's afraid of owning this lemon after his 3 year warranty expires.
So, are we just in a bad neighborhood, or, is nasty dealers common? Any thoughts on this?
Looking back, I had one great experience with a Chevy dealer, and the car bought there, and looking at their cars - well, it looks like Chevy only has 1 car, a Malibu.
I usually pick from Consumer Reports' top 3 for safety, but haven't looked at that yet.
