03 Tiburon with lock problems...
Hi all... this is my first post. We are having trouble with the locks and power openers...
Time line:
Time line:
- rear hatch key would not turn and open hatch... power opener worked
- power door locks stopped working... key still worked
- key in drivers door would not turn to open door lock
- power opener on hatch quit working...

Lack of use of the key in the cylinder is allowing the dirt/corrosion to bind the cylinder that the plates wont move freely and cylinder rotate...
SOULTION --
1 - spray PB Blaster into the key ways, let soak. Carefully work key -cylinder so it rotates freely.
2 - Oil the cylinder with synthetic oil of choice
3 - Use keys once in a while to keep things moving freely.
