Hi all... this is my first post. We are having trouble with the locks and power openers...
Time line:

1. rear hatch key would not turn and open hatch... power opener worked
2. power door locks stopped working... key still worked
3. key in drivers door would not turn to open door lock
4. power opener on hatch quit working...

any suggestions or ideas?... was thinking that the key tumblers could be weak causing the key to malfunction? any help much appreciated... TIA

 

Lack of use of the key in the cylinder is allowing the dirt/corrosion to bind the cylinder that the plates wont move freely and cylinder rotate...

SOULTION --

1 - spray PB Blaster into the key ways, let soak. Carefully work key -cylinder so it rotates freely.

2 - Oil the cylinder with synthetic oil of choice

3 - Use keys once in a while to keep things moving freely.
