Default 18" Rims on 2007 Tiburon GS??

Hey everyone, Making this post to see if I can get some experienced guidance on this situation at hand.

I had 18" rims on a previous car I owned. I saw the Tiburon GS 2007 stock upgrade only supported 17".

Can anyone tell me if/what problems I would have putting the 18"'s on the GS, or maybe a green light no problem. If it doesn't work "plug and play" as that, are there any methods to fit them on the car?? I'd hate to have to get rid of them...Would be a freakin' shame! help!!! Thanks !

Default Successs!!

I had a sunny sunday on my hands and was able to get all the jacks / parts together and tried the impossible and it seems quite POSSIBLE. The 18" rims were universal fits so they had many slotted /possible lug nuts. Tired was really tight and close inside once I let the car down on the tire but didnt run as i turned the wheel most all the way. W0000t! Cant wait to get these bad boys on when spring weather is here!

I'm glad you got them on, just don't install a lowering kit like I did, bad idea lol. I'm sticking with the 17's

Default Glad To See You Did AllRight...

This should have been no problem..the This car model I have put on 19" wheels and tires on this year Tibby.
The 18" rims and tires that would have fit perfect would have been as follows...The ET should have been 35-42mm, hub bore 67.1 , wheel size 18 x 7.5" and your tire size should be 215/40/18".

Hope this helps if you got the wrong sizes with your rim with or tire size..
By the way ...If you ever want to step up to the next size 19" this would be the size of the rim and tires... Rim: 19" X 7.5" same ET 35-42mm and the tires size would be 215/35/19".
