I own a 2007 tib GT with 57k on it. I bought it in july it runs awesome, but this winter I haven't driven it as much because I drive my sante fe during the winter months mostly. I start the tib up around twice or three times a week to keep the blood flowing lol. The last time I started it up I noticed a tapping sound that wasn't there before. It sounded like the oil hadn't made it up to the top of the engine so I just left it running for a few minutes, no change. Just started it today, same thing. I let it run for over ten minutes and it seemed the tapping was going nowhere. Do i still have warranty left for this car if its 5 year, 60k? Anyone know what the tapping could be?

 

Yes, the warranty is for 5y/60K miles for the second owners. I'd have it looked into. It could be a number of things.
