Default Engin swap help

I did an engine swap on my 2001 tiburon with a 2001 elantra motor. only thing is it was automatic. replaced the ecu plugs wires mas and thermostat, obviously puting the clutch on the new motor. now when i put the tranny back on and got the master cylinder in. the clutch is staying half disengaged. ill press the clutch once and it will go down all the way. the next pump and any after the clutch peal is locked halfway. do you think its the release bearing or or a spring? or could i possibly just need to bleed my clutch as i havnt dont that since the swap? i didnt remove the cylinder or any clutch fluid. so i thought it would be fine. Im about to pull the motor again and try and put the release bearing in again. anyone with a sudgestion that they think it might be before i pull the motor would be alot of help. THANKS
