To be honest, I don't know what are teh best kits because I have't researched them. The guys at NewTiburon.com are probably the best people to ask what kits are good and what kits are junk.

Here is a guide for conversion from halogen to HID lights. The article is from a Sonata oriented site, but the HID units employed are likely the same or similar to ones designed for a Tiburon. The article will give you an idea of how much an DIY job this can be.

Personally, I agree with Noveresources about making such a change from halogen to HID. For far less money, you can go to Walmart or any other auto parts store and look at the various aftermarket halogen bulbs that will be a direct swap without making any cuts to your wiring or risk melting headlight buckets. If you buy a set a bulbs and don't like the results, you are only out $10 or so bucks for experimenting.
