hi just wondering if any one knew where i could find a differential or used trans for a 01 tiburon?
i am already on my third trans due to the differential pin wearing and snapping teeth on the spider gears and the car only has 82000 miles on it! Any help is appreciated,

Actually, these are call transaxles. A differential is for a rear drive car. You should try local junk yards in your area for around $150. An Elantra transaxle is the same thing. Try not to beat the crap out of the next one, if you can help it.

 

to jsinton the know it all try searching for lsd's for a tiburon its a differential just like in a rear drive vehicle if you have ever taken a trans apart! also i find it hard to believe that it is from beating on it when the first trans went out at 70,000 miles and the second at 66,000 miles due to slop in the pin. also when my gf called hyundai about it they told her that they should have had a recall on that trans but not enough complaints! thanks for the advice jsinton but i was looking for a DIFFERENTIAL or trans
